What we offer
Specializing in the manufacture of various types of mild steel and alloy steel billets, we provide a critical contribution to the essential raw materials required for infrastructure development. Established in 2001 at the Rusayl Industrial Estate, our organization Modern Steel Mills LLC manufactures steel billets utilizing advanced Electrical Arc Furnace technology.
Originally operating with an annual capacity of 84,000 metric tons, our operations have grown to currently produce over 160,000 metric tons per annum, with efforts directed towards products distributed across both Oman and the U.A.E.
Our operations are extremely environmentally friendly, converting waste ferrous scrap into an intermediary product that can be used as raw materials in rerolling mills.
Manufactured billets are used for rebar, wire rods, angles, channels and girders, along with a tremendous amount of other components utilized in the rapidly advancing construction industry. Being the first in the Sultanate to use Electrical Arc Furnace technology, our operations are extremely environmentally friendly, converting waste ferrous scrap into an intermediary product that can be used as raw materials in rerolling mills. These unique innovations, along with a strict adherence to quality assurance, health and safety, uphold our reputation as an exclusive supplier in quality steel products.
