Thrilled to be the sole representative of a globally recognized brand, our company National Marketing & Trading Co.LLC (NMTC) is the exclusive agent for The Body Shop International plc in the Sultanate of Oman. Founded in 1976 as a small business providing natural hair and skin care products, today we are a prominent and trusted global beauty brand which focuses on accentuating the innate beauty of people. The Body Shop revolutionized the cosmetic industry by introducing concepts of natural simplicity, eco-friendly packaging, innovative cosmetic design and development and promoted ethical consumerism. After being acquired by L’Oréal in 2006, we are in the process of further scaling up our vision.

Holding strong to Omani values in social responsibility, the vast majority of our specialized beauty consultants are members of the local community, trained and mentored by international professionals to meet The Body Shop standards and requirements. Extensive training on skin-care, make-up and other product related aspects are given to our Omani staff and currently all of our shops have Omani sales attendants. Our The Body Shop operations are presently spearheaded by an Omani who joined us 21 years ago as a salesgirl!

In addition, our company goes above and beyond to promote our values in social responsibility by actively participating in various Ministry of Health programs dedicated to women and children. These programs allow our specialized consultants to interactively promote the importance of skin-care and other health, wellness and beauty concepts. We are also extremely active members in supporting the various causes of DAR AL ATA’A, the leading local charitable organization in Oman.

Our company National Marketing & Trading Co. is proud to currently present 10 The Body Shop outlets across prime locations in Oman at Muscat, Sohar and Salalah. Ever since the Assarain Group took over the reins of managing the Omani operations of The Body Shop, we continue to further the legacy of beauty.
