Assarain Insurance Division was established in June 1988 to look after the insurance requirements of the Assarain Group and organise its coverage of relevant risks.

The Division’s efficient performance resulted in its being appointed the Principal Agent of Oman United Insurance Company, one of the leading 100% Omani insurance companies. It now enjoys exclusive authority in under-writing and claim settlement.

Right from its inception, the Division has achieved a steady growth, with premium income increasing every year. Today, the Division underwrites and services all classes of General and Life Insurance business. An in-depth knowledge of risk management enables the company to provide comprehensive insurance packages to various client categories.

Today, the Division’s operations are characterised by personalised service to its clients. This is complemented by quick claim settlement and extremely competitive premium rates.

Encouraged by its success, the Division now seeks to obtain a brokerage licence, so as to offer better insurance packages to its clients. Plans to diversify into the loss assessment business are on the anvil as well.
