Assarain International Contracting Company
(AICC) is where the roots of the Assarain Group lie. AICC’s business is the
construction of residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
This Company has successfully completed several projects for the Government,
leading commercial organisations and high quality residential apartments for
the private sector. Its work has included offices, restaurants, mosques and
a whole residential township among others, as well as some of the most
luxurious villas in the Sultanate. Notable projects include the Hay Al
Rahbah residential project and Wudam Naval Base Staff Accommodation, College
& Library.
AICC developed into an independent company in 1994. External clients have
now been given up in favour of exclusive projects for the Assarain Group.
These are executed on a turnkey basis, from site selection through to design
and construction.
The Company has different departments, each pertaining to an aspect of its
work, from quantity survey to purchase, finance and administration. AICC has
its own carpentry workshop, welding workshop, plant & vehicle maintenance
workshop and transport department. Its technical expertise is reflected in
its own electrical and mechanical maintenance section.
